FIBAG biogas is able to analyse:

  • Ammonium (NH4 +) content (47-130 mg / L NH4-N 60-167 mg / L NH4 +);
  • zinc (Zn) content (0.2-6 mg / L Zn / 0.24 to 7.2 mg / L Zn (Crack-Set LCW 902);
  • probe preparation method with respect to digestion to determine the metal content (Cd, Fe, Cu, Ni, Zn);
  • Chemical oxygen demand (KOI) (high range (5-60 g / L); medium range (1000-10000 mg / L); low range (150 -1000 mg / L);
  • magnesium (Mg) content (0.5: - 50 mg / L);
  • molybdenum (Mo) content (3-300 mg / L);
  • nickel (Ni) content (0,1 - 6 mg / L Ni / 0.12 to 7.2 mg / L Ni (Crack-Set LCW 902);
  • Total phosphorus content (PO4-P 2.0 to 20.0 mg / L PO4 6.0 to 60.0 mg / L; P2O5 from 4.5 to 45.0 mg / L);
  • (total) Volatile organic fatty acids content (CH3COOH 50-2500 mg / L; C3H7COOH 75-3600 mg / L);
  • (total) related nitrogen content (5-40 mg / L);
  • sulphide content (S2) (0,1 - 2.0 mg / L);

Main goals of the methods with the infrastructure of the FIBAG biogas LAB investigations are:

To avoid bad smell there is an under pressure chamber for unloading smelling materials, i.e. abattoir refuses, etc. Additionally a bio filter and a closed fermenter system are in use for avoiding bad smell.

To avoid noise emission there is a housing of loud equipment.

To avoid waste water emission a water recycling system is employed.
